Aurora Vineyard

With a direct east-facing view toward the sunrise over snow-capped Mt. Hood, Aurora Vineyard is located at 300-600 elevations atop Chehalem Mountain. The 65-acre vineyard offers a delectable array of southeast slopes and crowns, some perfect for Pinot Noir, others for Pinot Gris. Aurora is the site of numerous viticultural experiments, including clonal and rootstock research. In addition to the ideally situated Pinot Noir and Pinot Gris, it is home to many Dijon clones of Chardonnay, new plantings of Pinot Blanc, and special Italian varietals Arneis and Dolcetto. The Pinot Noir plantings are densely spaced at 1m x 2m.
